Ah, looks like we now have details about the autumn #covid19 booster campaign in the UK.
Available on the NHS only for those 65 and over, care home residents, those with specific health conditions, and front line health and social care staff.
Everyone else will have to pay. Looks like it costs about £100.
Which sucks.
It beggars belief that some amazing science gave us the tools to mitigate the threat of covid, and we choose not to use them.

i wonder if the vax being given on the NHS is one of the latest, or are they again pushing out older, rather less effective versions (like they did last year)

@botvolution That I don't know. It's probably been updated since last year, but whether it's as up to date as it could be is something I have no information on.

@botvolution @statsguy They are using the same vaccines they used in Spring.
They have preprocurement contracts so I also assume they have to keep to them.
A shitshow all round.
