Microtransactions are the bane of gaming these days. There's a number of games that have subscriptions but aren't overly intrusive about it. World of Tanks, World of Warships, Elder Scrolls Online to name a few. You have an initial layout of money for ESO, to buy the base game, and you can play freep and have a great gaming experience. WoT and WoWS don't even have that, and subscription only means you get more xp and credits per battle. Good examples of how to do money right.

that recent journey to the west game sold a lot, and there were tons of people complaining that that game was making so mcuh money, peole complained when elden ring was successful not that long ago, "those people" did anyway, cuz their dogshit storytelling and gameplay isn't interesting to people who just want to play games, and on top of htat most people are offput by ugly characters.

I'll go you one better: there's maybe 20 troony faggots screaming and foaming over things, including shoving black people in places where they don't normally belong. I can guarantee you that the majority of black gamers (an already low number) don't want to play Shaniquas. Usually, they go for sports or shooter games anyway. So imagine that someone like Keffals had the power to influence game development and it turns out no one wanted his shit, even other troons.

this has been noted in the past, you'd think all these games would sell copies at least to the presumed LARGE amount of people on the "right side of history" as they've often said, but it turns out most people don't give a hsit about your causes, and they aren't gonna play dogshit games just cuz you say it's a good thing.

I'm starting to think that maybe the games and comics devs really are out of touch with the reality of the markets, and when they go looking for input to help guide them, these activists (remember SJW) jump to the head of the line and push their agenda, overriding everyone else. Over the past 9 years, it became evident and clear that the majority of those screaming for "social justice and change for the better" were all degenerate fucks that either got arrested, died from overdoses or diseases, or were pedos.
I guarantee you, if some games, comics, movies, etc were to come out that promoted pure testosterone, told by real men, those media offering would rake in barge loads of money.

@Dagnar @handmaid i play games from the company paradox interactive, and their whole model is making a game then supporting it for years with dlc purchases that add more complex gameplay over itme, i'm addicted to the niche genre so i accept hteir policiy they are at least constantly developing the game rather than just trying to get you to buy fluff.
