   @spujb it's the moderation. Eugen refuses to add anything useful.

   If I have to *see* something to remove it, that's dumb. I should be able to set keywords to be automatically reported to me.

   Someone should not be able to use slurs and fly under the radar because someone didn't report them.🤦♂️

     Everyone seems to have their own pet theory as to why #Mastodon isn't growing, so here's mine just for kicks:

     People will put up with anything to avoid learning. The experience is actually psychologically painful to most people, so enshittification is tolerable as long as the platform does all the work.

     Combine that with their spoon-fed consumer mentality, and of course most people's brains shut down the minute you start explaining decentralization.
