     approximately 20 hours to print. crescent was 3 parts with a lot of broken supports, had to file down the hole for the nail and lube it up. the thin parts of crescent had a bit of flex and a bit messy but at this scale it's fine. Nail was printed separately but you could print entire thing in one go, i just didn't want to since i wanted to test if tolerances on part connectors of the crescent were ok or not (they are, a bit loose even) i'll need to glue them together but I think i'm running out of instant glue.

     @a1ba for game/mod you'll probably want to undo some slices and additions to make it printable (crescent doesn't fit) and export to STL and then convert to MDL or something idk.
     
     Since the in-game powerup model is so low-poly (and honestly kinda shit shape) I had to recreate it by essentially tracing the artwork. I made assumptions like nail being square complete (since given NIN it's most likely intended to be crucifixion nail) with square head (for aesthetic and because i couldn't be assed to make it a circle), and thickness of crescent is just an assumption/approximation based on powerup model.

     @a1ba speaking of shit shapes, i 3d printed quake keys too, the "normal" keys (as opposed to rune keys and keycards) and realized how bad the model is - all of the spikes on the key are different. ALL OF THEM. One spike is also slightly lower/higher than the other three. You can really tell whomever made the original model (was is Adrian?) just dragged the vertex outside manually for each one.

     oh yeah, the tip is pretty sharp too (0.3mm nozzle ftw) so you could use it for crucifixion, but this one with its 10% infill would probably break if you use a hammer editor on it.

     Though world models are always like that. I think few world models in hl1 even missing a triangle but you never notice it in game
