      Opening is a little too... Hotel California. Bass is solid and well mixed. Increasing tempo about 10 bpm would make it sound more aggressive. The solo needs a bit of synch and polish. Couple parts you're way out of key. But, yeah man. Overall it's good. I will give it another listen.

      Def feel the hotel california thing, The out of key stuff is using some very arabic sounding incidentals, i wanted it to sound agressive, not wrong. If you think it sounds wrong though, i might look into swapping some notes around

      I think the goal of being a musician is so you can make music that pleases you. You asked for opinions and I gave one.
      If the composition is what you want it to be, then you've accomplished what you set out to.

      @lunarised i like the arabic solo, but i think the kick is a tad too loud relatove to the other drums and also the guitar. I probably know even less about production than you so take that with a grain of salt

      @karna Kick is def too loud I agree. Its always hard to mix a kick since in rock, it really changes based on headphones I find. Thanks for the heads up!

      @lunarised yeah I get that, you want it to cut through the guitar just enough which can really depend on how you are listening.. that notwithstanding, its a pretty solid track brother

      @lunarised assuming you mean the solo that starts around the 2:50 mark, I honestly didnt notice them on my first listen but after you mentioned it they were more noticeable.

      Also I made sure to re-listen on a few different headphones and I stand by thinking the kicks are too loud but also noticed that your closed hihats are a little louder than your open hihats (which might be a function of the song being less busy when the hats are closed more than anything). idk if thats something that should change but it just made me think about how I always assume open hats should be louder, at least in a live setting with acoustic drums. The flipside is that louder open hats might be more distracting though... Not sure where I am going with this tbh

      @karna the weird notes are intentional, keeping it from being diatonic for that section.

      I'm revisit the HH mix i think. I wanna throw a low pass on them to take out the tin
