   IMO it’s not really so much what #AI can or can’t do in the #art department. It’s AGENCY that it can’t do. It won’t be enjoying the moment and feeling the belonging circuits in our brains that have evolved over millions of years.

   I think people will be using AI to enable more cool performances in the future.

   But a #human wielding skills to tweak the parameters will always be able to deliver more agency, belonging & vibe. Because you can’t prompt #physical being.

     @gimulnautti ...you are aware that theres a human in the process right most of the time right? When I make AI art, I'm the one enjoying the moment. I am the physical being.

     @gimulnautti is it a really long way of saying I don't have full control over everything it outputs? And as such the handmade art is more valuable.

     That's obviously true this far. I don't put a value on my stuff though. I'm just doing it as a hobby.

     @BeAware That question could imply you are not fully grasping my argument, or I have failed in it’s presentation.

     I am not coming at this argument from an emotional stance that’s for or againt ai. It is an attempt at grabbing the fine line that could in the potential future of AI Abundance be the true differentiator of capacity between human and generative AI.

     @gimulnautti makes sense, though, I have a feeling that might not be the case forever, as there's many options to fine-tune the output via Loras and certain prompt crafting techniques. It can only get more finetuned.

     And in the end, something's value can only be defined by how much someone is willing to pay for it. I don't have experience with such things as I don't try to sell mine, but people have bought it somewhere, I'm sure.

     @BeAware Yes. That’s the gist of my argument. Your control over the shape of a generative AI system’s output is less than a human who contructs the real thing piece by piece.
