   I just hope Twitter getting shut down in Brazil doesn't result in a bunch of Brazilians migrating to Koo again 🙃

   (Koo sounds like "cu"/"ass" in Portuguese and people went there purely for the memes but then it turned out it was basically the Indian version of Gab 💀)

     @sofiav I lived in India when Koo became big for a time. People were trumpeting it as India's next big tech thing. But it became a haven for the BJP and Modi-Bakhts. Twitter is still surprisingly big there because its used by all the elites. Essentially it helped me understand that Twitter is basically a bunch of elites having conversations with themselves. That's why it is such a big deal among the media-political-entertainment complex.

     Where do you think Brazilians will go?

     @seanbala honestly I have no idea. Twitter was never really that big in Brazil either--maybe everyone who's there now will just get a VPN and keep using it, even though that's technically banned too 🤷♀️

     @seanbala the big rush to koo happened when Musk took over Twitter and everyone thought it might go down imminently, but I have a feeling most people just made a few ass jokes and then abandoned their accounts
