     @dushman @thatbrickster honestly if I do over my fedora install I'm definitely going to go for xfs over btrfs, the only concern I really have is compatibility with wine and proton due to the... what was it... 64-bit inodes thing?

     I use XFS on all the drives on my desktop. ZFS on my home storage server.
     XFS>ext4 it's faster and even more stable.

     @dushman BtrFS is fine for my desktop as the NVMe is a boot drive. My spinning rust data drive is ext4/dm-crypt. My laptops hate me though.

     Silicon graphics knew what they were doing. XFS was very ahead of its time considering how old it is.

     XFS is rock solid stable and faster than ext4 or btrfs, better recovery tools as well.
