   I really like to follow folks back when they follow me and wish others to do the same.

   However, this past week has been kinda wild. If this keeps up, I fear I'll lag behind following folks back😬I've been followed at least once an hour now for about a week! I'm too slow!😩

   Also, if you follow me and I haven't followed you back, it's either because you post primarily in a language I don't understand, so I'd have to translate all of your posts, you don't have anything in your bio, or we literally don't have interests in common that your bio makes clear.

     @ThaMunsta oh...that's strange...for the zero post accounts, I always mention them and welcome them to Fedi, asking them to post an introduction so I have a reason to follow back.

     I personally don't give a single fuck who follows me. I know others have valid concerns though, so of course you should do your due diligence how you see fit.

     @ThaMunsta oh yeah, that's a scammer. I'd report immediately.

     🤦♂️I've only ever seen one such similar scammer, but they were trying to masquerade as a very popular women's wrestler.

     They didn't interact with me directly, they just had the very unfortunate timing of posting an "I'm new here" on the federated timeline while I was looking.

     They were banned less than 10 minutes later cause I'm friends with their admin.😂

     @BeAware yeah i actually did try to welcome them and they asked if they could DM and i was like uhh like why bruh lol seemed kinda sketch idk but ya otherwise same.
