     99.9% of the country was too busy being psychologically tortured with Robbie Williams singing Angels being broadcast for the eightieth time that day over the national tanoy system to realise Les Rhythmes Digitales was existed and was about 30 years ahead of his time.

     anyway, this is all to say, that Liam referring to his brother Noel perjoratively as "a potato" is really giving both of them too much credit in the britpop / britcuisine metaphor.

     he should have said that he's grain. Oasis is the grain of music.
