     Yeah I wouldn't expect them to care about Ukraine. Tbh, I doubt any of the ones here have much idea of what is happening there at all. Pretty much the only permitted topics if discussion between us and them involve business, because making money is actually number one among them. The Quakers out this way, on the other hand, are obnoxious about their anti-war stance. They don't have the good grace to mind their business. Afaik, though, there aren't many left.

     I live in Amish land. I actually have Amish friends and that is something they would rather I not talk about. They don't have recent German ideas about anything. Mostly they are trying to stay profitable farmers in spite of climate change.

     @eva_chaos went to mennonite seminary and married an ex mennonite; having it out with the professors of christian pacifism that they should be outraged with putin's torturing and murdering conscientious objectors. my former college advisor told me "i've been too anti-america for too long to care very much about ukraine"
