I'm seeing some disinformation regarding the problem with #Telegram's CEO arrest in the messages of several people I follow.
It isn't:
- privacy: telegram is no good at that
- interception/snooping by authorities: telegram is us no good at that
It is:
They want the ability to censor the communication of people without being officially #censorship.
Hence the Digital Services Act, and whatever laws have been making the news recently in the UK and France that demand de facto censorship.
