   Is there a nifty way to quote other #Mastodon postings? This is a #Twitter feature that I really do miss, and #Bluesky has it.

     @sebgiessmann most people just add RE: And a link to the post after your own comments.

     This propagates in most apps as a quote post correctly.

     @weirdwriter @sebgiessmann well, that's not a quote post because nobody can see my post without clicking into your post.

     Adding the link allows the apps that support quote posts to make them actually be quote posts.

     You can also reply and put the reach to public and put everyone at the end, like what I am doing now. This way, people can look and see what I am replying to and my reply. @BeAware @sebgiessmann
