   The #Windows Control Panel is going away soon as #Microsoft officially announces a end plan for it and it would be a sad day when it happens since the Settings app still isn't ideal for legacy tools and admins among other reasons. https://www.neowin.net/news/microsoft-finally-officially-confirms-its-killing-windows-control-panel-sometime-soon/

     I'm sure it'll take 5-7 years to completely kill it off.

     @joeo10 I still go right to cpanel for most things. There's a lot of built-in memory for where things are. Although I don't generally think of myself as an icon guy, I am so used to some of the icons, I go right where I need to in cpanel for some reason.

     I particularly find the setup for email and printers/devices much better in the older interface.

     @cs I still use Control Panel for backup and setting up storage scopes and related things so if that gets removed down the road then I'm really screwed.
