   @Juice8767 @PhoenixSerenity @Melissabeartrix I make a habit out of buying the least "smart" appliance possible because I'm tired of this pointless brittleness. My espresso machine has a lever and my grinder is hand cranked. My appliances should be able to outlive me.

     I’m pretty tired of touch screens getting added onto simple appliances just to jack the price and add points of failure to pubs consumers into a loop of needlessly upgrading their toasters.

     It's a newish toy ... Multi slow cooker / pressure cooker and many other unexplored options ... I never had a pressure cooker and at least this way it has other things it can do
