     @DW2 @CaptainButthurt I don't see it as cursed. I think of it like living during the Black Plague; technology has caused a situation to evolve that is kicking us in the nuts, but the only way is through.

     @DW2 @CaptainButthurt It's *possible* that developing technology slower *could* have avoided it; but that's why I say the Black Plague as the comparison, sometimes things slide into place in a way that nothing you have created before could have convincingly gotten you off of that course of development.
