   sometimes i wonder about if i gave up on the double online life. not managing opsec religiously. it being an open secret about me carrying a gun everywhere to people who know me (this has happened before)

     i think the problem with giving people too much about me up front without context is that they end up with too many weird preconceived notions about me but i'm not sure

     @shibao I used to work for Red Hat, and they specifically prohibited employees from carrying. Fortunately, they never had any detectors, at least in the satellite offices.

     Once upon a time people in big tech wondered why I never left my bag at my desk. I suspect a few guessed out was a loaded 1911 but nobody said anything
