     @RikaDerufu Yes, it's good if a subgendre pushes women out because that means they also push shitty men out too. People just look at the former and go "Oh no, thats bad!" but anytime men are gatekept it's "whatever"

     I'm a metalcore fan and I literally know only one band with a female lead that doesn't suck ass.
     
     Women are not excluded by music genres and it's delusional to think so. Most women listen to pop so subsequently most female singers will be drawn to pop genres.
     The shortage of female musicians in other genres is only due to the shortage of women (on an average) who are listening to genres that are not pop or indie pop
