     I mean ... I guess no one would really care about the source code today ... there are a 100 other open RTS engines out there now that are probably way better anyway :blobcatshrug:

     @djsumdog @Fullmetal2255 @mischievoustomato the game's completely free, is ancient, and the way things go the source code will probably be completely lost even to Blizzard. It'd be useful today as research material, the way Doom's source code is studied. There's a Diablo 3 in the picture so this is pre-free SC, but it was already pirated to the moon. What the redditor should've done was make some backups of the disk and sit on it. Instead he thought of it mostly as a way to gain reddit social credit.
