     for our machine learning and AI use cases, Nvidia with CUDA is still best. not because Intel or AMD are bad. just because the software support is not there on AMD and Intel side.

     @kaia @sun I would probably suggest wait for 5000s series so 4090s will be cheaper. Wish in the GPU space they had more competition also depends on the model too. I know weather stations models are very big and I think x86 has stuff moon was telling me about the macs that some how they can use storage as vram but with x86 its servers I think

     yeah waiting for the 5000s is definitely a good plan :comfy: maybe the AI stuff will also crash similarly to mining, so it will become cheaper to purchase enterprise-grade cards :aurashrug:
