   99.99999% of Android installs aren't even source-available.
   
   The only free version of Android, which being free software, has full source code availability is; https://replicant.us/
   
   
   There is already a "viable" proprietary BusyBox/Linux distro that runs on many mobile devices called "postmarketos".

     @Monsignor_DickFace @rher google is going to be broken up and it's very possible they could be forced to sell off android, which would probably be the end of viable open source phone OSs
