   Did they seriously just upload the GTA driver NPC code to the Waymo cars?
   
   Literally just standing still and honking until the car in front of them moves, which it never does.

     @lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me That heavily depends on where you live.
     
     In the Netherlands the law says you're actually only allowed to use your horn in situations of imminent danger. Using the horn in any other context will result in a 90 euro ticket.

     Like for me only exception is within strictly defined limits where safety mechanisms are in place like done with elevators, metros, some shuttles, …

     In most CIS counrties I know the rules are the same, but using the horn in any other context will result in nothing at all.
     So I've recently had a guy honking under my window rushing his friend to get out and into his car. At 3AM. Cool!
