     (You think I'm being mean but I swear to you I'm not; please keep in mind I grew up in an extremely patriarchal reactionary Catholic family where once I came out as trans reconciliation was impossible until my father literally died; my brother and I still do not speak. I was absolutely raised on this shit and have read not just Rand but a billion wankers obsessed with her. There's no there, there. It's not a legitimate ideology.      Calling objectivism a legitimate ideology is basically like arguing that Gordon Gecko is a philosopher; it's just absurd on its face and you absolutely shouldn't concede the idea that this is a worldview to these muppets. "I'm a greedy fuck who doesn't care about anyone but myself" is not a fully-formed ideology.

     Like, this is not me saying "they're wrong" in a sort of academic, moral, or ethics based discussion. For that to be the angle here, I'd have to respect objectivism as a world view. It's not. It's literally not an ideology; it's a collection of justifications for being a fucking piece of shit loosely lashed together and presented as "philosophy." Its entire structure works backwards from "how to I justify being a rich sociopath" as opposed to "I believe this, therefore I should behave thusly"

     @AnarchoNinaWrites It's funny how many of these assholes consider themselves some type of "christian", when Ayn Rand at least had the good sense to understand her bullshit wasn't compatible with Christianity. They just use both to justify being assholes and they don't stop to think how they don't fit together at all.
