     was gonna figure out what to do with alexander parts since they were taking up quite a lot of inventory space

     turns out some of the alexander gear was better than my current red mage gear

     we've spent hours now on doing errands and getting our own asses kicked for plot reasons

     it's still only level 61, I haven't properly explored a single map, or unlocked a single duty, or ANYTHING

     aleo karen informed me that the cool speech portraits are actually a thing that was introduced in a later expansion but then added to stormblood in a patch as well

     the portaits are super cool. so I'm glad they did it I guess

     the villain for this arc one of the more final fantasy characters in this final fantasy game

     completely with a spinning sword selector

     (im honestly kinda not sure how i feel about it -- the presets are cool i guess, but they're all very clearly someone else's, and I'm the type of person that wants to tweak things, and then there's like, way too many things to tweak, even in like, a single .fx technique)
