I think this is my first time being in a gallery that has a decent amount of people in it, and this one even had people queuing to see famous paintings. enjoyable experience though. really famous and really beautiful pieces everywhere. I do actually feel inspired and wanna know more about art movements and history and how to learn from that and use it in my own writing

no but the one interesting thing about on-line arguments is that we all tend to act like... we're on some sort of a committee I guess? the most common responses to "here's what I'd like personally in my subjective opinion" is often "that's not good design" "that's not economically viable" "that's politics of the kind I oppose"

it's kind of adjacent to like, "the part of you that cringes" and it's not literally "playing the devil's advocate" but it almost is. It is about just how much we've narrowed down our lines of thinking to JUST that. it's almost corporate. "your user story doesn't seem to generate enough value for the shareholders" kinda thinking. but like, people act like this when it is youtube comments and fanart and card game effects

@puniko gonna be honest I saw @/SitaDulip@gamepad.club post a pic of a solo game with cool tokens and the cool art and then I kinda bought it on a whim when I talked to her about board games you can play solo... so I'm not sure how it plays yet!!

ok this is pretty funny. the game synced to my framerate so it ran at like 4x the speed it shouldve and it took me a while to realize. i thought they just made walking really fast

apparently the spanish pokemon fangames are the coolest these days
