   My ADHD brain can't help but wonder if the shortened "Fedi" has been widely used as long as "Fediverse" has been used, or close to it.

   Probably will never know the true answer because a LOT of posts here have auto deletion, but...my brain wonders.

     If I had ADHD i'd be thinking about FBI when I hear Fed's. Oh wait. I do have ADHD. And they are after me!

     Seriously though. What does it mean to be Federated anyway?

     @ajaxStardust well, I don't think about FBI very often🤣

     But federated is a word that means communication across servers.
