Note for Japan residents: I got the info pack for my health check the other day and there was a paper offering a COVID shot for 19,800 yen for anyone outside of the government coverage zone (aka almost everyone). So I guess expecting to pay at least 20,000 yen for a shot if you want one might not be a bad idea even if some places may offer it for less (much like the flu shot).

@mollymay5000 It's a bit frustrating it isn't cheaper. :/ I imagine a lot of people will skip it because of this, plus the lack of government/media messaging about it.
