I would hate the US no matter where I lived, and to some degree would dislike pretty much any part of it because there are very few places in the US that haven't been subject to the conditions that have turned it into an atomized hellscape. major cities are somewhat of an exception to this because they're almost their own independent entities but then that comes with its own set of problems (New York City for instance being like a literal fascist police state)
