@liztai I know 2 Malaysians and one Singaporean where I live. One Malaysian is Mandarin the other Hakka. Singaporean is Mandarin (or at least speaks it).
Tends to confuse a lot of people in Europe though 😅 Never really got why but then again I grew up in a country with 11 official languages!
@monsoonrains I don't even know how we Hokkiens communicate with each other because there's so many varieties. We confuse ourselves too 🤭
