   @i if you’re not a crypto person you might find a niche there but being a crypto person helps a lot.
   
   One thing I don’t like is it’s loaded with toxic positivity, people that try to raise warnings about problems get shunned

     @i development is very heavily biased toward 1. People that could potentially help the network someday and 2. Hype building.
     
     I like a lot of the technical stuff happening there but a lot of it also to me seems like jam it in farcaster because it helps Warpcast even if it adds more points of failure

     @i as an example you can already implement a site sign in using your crypto wallet but they are now pushing sign in using farcaster, which is like an oauth flow to your network api provider. I see posts complaining about server errors or the QR code not being scannable and I’m just like, you did this to yourself. Just sign in using your fucking wallet

     @sun @i Sign In With Ethereum is surprisingly easy to implement, no servers required to verify anything, etc.
     
     so why the hell are they trying to jam their server into the middle of it

     @feld @i @sun that crap prevented me from checking it out. my phone doesn't have google services framework so i can't sign up. for some reason using a crypto wallet to sign up for this network is not an option.
