  @BeAware Hmm see I too have a deep love for BL but I do want to watch it.
  Maybe what I'll do is rewire my brain to just pretend its a totally unrelated movie. Like "Any actual names or likenesses of borderlands characters are used in a fictitious and parodic manner" will just replay in my head the whole movie

  @ppb1701 well, even the director suggests that you turn your brain off if attempting to watch it...that's not good.
  I won't let them ruin my view of Borderlands.
  Randy Pitchford has been trying really hard to do that in the past few years. This is just his latest attempt and I fear that he'll use this flop of a shitshow to say "Nobody seems interested in borderlands anymore" and not make another game.🤦♂️

  @ppb1701 yeahhh...3 isn't great in terms of story. But the gameplay is SO good.
  It's on sale right now if you don't mind the shitshow of Epic Games Store.

  That's the super duper everything edition.
  The other editions with less content are cheaper if you only want the base game or certain content.

  I still need to go back and play 3 sometime. I thought I saw on my geeky rss feeds hints for a borderlands 4. Though given the trends it'll be a live service sh__ show probably with seasons and battle passes🙄

  It is worth a playthrough, I just hated specific parts of the story.
  I love the idea and where it wanted to go, but it ruined specific things like the main antagonists and certain aspects of the core group of protagonists.
  You'll see what I mean when you play it.
  I'm definitely interested in your thoughts once you have the time to finish it.
