@quinze @katzenberger Great points. Many of us are actually willing to pay for what we value. Proton, for example. I recall a comment the other day that if Mozilla had actually retained focus, while perhaps only branching out in smarter areas such as Google "ecosystem" alternatives (as Proton ultimately have done, to significant success), they might not be in such a precarious position.

It's starting to smell bad already.
