     @ml Yep. that's a mistake I made last year. I have beaware.social but I'm hesitant to move again because last time I lost like 200 people.😔

     @ml Oh, you definitely will lose all your posts and if you boost, it'd work till you brought that instance offline.

     However, you *want* to migrate to Mastodon....?🤨 To each their own.🤷♂️ I'm wanting the exact opposite. I want off this terrible ride.

     @BeAware My biggest fear is I'm gonna lose all of my posts 😑 .. Not sure if boosts from the new server would work. I also want to migrate to Mastodon.

     @ml Yeah, no. That won't work.

     I follow 800 and sit at 60% RAM usage of a 16 gb server. :kek: ElasticSearch is terribly unoptimized in my experience.

     @BeAware I don't think I would be able to run ElasticSearch peacefully on a 5$ linode as I'm following 5k+ people. So staying with Akkoma for the time being. 😄

     @ml That's great. If I ever get the courage to move, I'm either moving back to Sharkey or possibly Akkoma. I've heard decent things about it.

     @BeAware I had very bad experience with it in the past. Full Text Search in Akkoma works fine though 😍.
