     @BeAware huh? they are completely separate tracks - think of them as two different major releases

     there will be an 18.1 beta 2 out at some point soon

     you can always choose to go back to the 18.0 beta track in your software update settings

     i bet it's possible - but you might need to completely restore the phone from an ipsw - may not be avail in the nice droppy downny new update ui

     @BeAware i bet you'll see a new 18.1 beta soon, once they cherry pick any fixes over from 18.0 dev beta 5

     my mac on 15.1 has no update avail either yet (usually released at the same time)

     @BeAware if you're a real nerd like me they have an rss feed that updates as soon as stuff is available

     you'll notice all of the corresponding mac/ios betas in a wave/track usually drop at the same time

     and you can see that they run multiple tracks in parallel: e.g. not too long ago they had the 17.6 beta build track live at the same time as the 18.0 beta track

     he's on 18.1 Sam - there are two separate 18.x beta tracks now!

     18.0 has six betas, 18.1 has two (since it's newer)

     18.0 is destined to be on the new phones (no ai stuff), 18.1 is a future followup and has some of the ai stuff
