My Hero Academia ending was hilarious. Entire story centered around "even those without power can be heroes" only for the main character to become a literal fucking WAGIE after he loses his. Lmao.

@triodug Profoundly sad. What the fuck is wrong with the author? Really glad I never got into that shit and just enjoyed the fanart.

@idiot like Naruto's Kishimoto I think the author is just stupid and didn't know what he was doing.

@coolboymew only reason I've kept up with it was because I've been reading since literal day 1 of it's release. Some very good moments but overall it's just the big 3 shonens boiled down to a boring slop.

@triodug it just feels great to be proven right about an early drop
Dropped S2 and never looked back

The one cool thing the ending did was fake out the gay shonen trope of "I can save the villain". Deku just punched that nigga in the face and killed his ass.

@Loki I thought that was fine because half of the manga he barely knew how to use them and jobbed constantly. It was his le wit and cunning that won a lot of the battles in the beginning. But then he just doesn't learn anything so what's the point.

@triodug the premise was shot in the leg the moment they gave deku a power, i feel like it wouldve been better to have deku work around being quirkless or have him have a shitty quirk but making the most of it in original ways

@triodug he learned how to do a 9-5 💪
Id wish it didnt flop in the end, otherwise it couldve just been a fun shonen
