   I don’t understand how we are solving our homeless problem by waking up homeless people at inhumane hours of the morning and throwing away their tent.

   They’re still homeless. Now they don’t have their temporary home either. And you don’t have shelter or beds.

     @skinnylatte that’s because to you, “homelessness problem” means that people don’t have homes. To those who support this policy, the “problem” is that the homeless people are visibly existing.

     They’re not trying to solve the problems homeless people have, they’re trying to solve their problem with the homeless.

     @skinnylatte i saw one study which said 60% of homeless were victims of child abuse. Cities are only perpetuating the abuse and criminalizing their struggles.
