> elevator pitch for a restaurant
i feel like restaurant marketing is some weird boondoggle. like. what marketing is there to do?
"its' food but vaguely italian, today."
"it's food but vaguely chinese, today."
"we're not legally allowed to call it food by the FDA, today"

@icedquinn I usually don't care for restaurants, because it's low on my list of things I prioritize spending money on, but from what I've heard from other people, food is not all there is to a restaurant. Some appreciate other details in them, the "atmosphere", as it were. Some others like it for there to be live music, or some entertainment show.

@cine @icedquinn especially in latin America and south of Spain where you can eat outside in little villages with lots of vegetation around perfect summer nights temperatures

@Diceynes @icedquinn I'm latin american, we inherently distrust spanish people. Nothing personal :tips:

@icedquinn @Diceynes That's actually common here. Not necessarily in the cities, but I've been to a good amount of countryside, open-air, restaurants to confirm this is true.
