   @gwynnion I’m a leftist/socialist, union activist, and I was a protestor at several BLM and anti-ICE protests. They still put me on a jury in an attempted murder case.

   Don’t try to get out of jury duty. You’re the kind of person who we need to keep the police and prosecutors honest. They get enough unearned deference from too many people.

     So I got a jury summons. They wouldn't let me out of it at first. But I'm thinking they won't like my responses to the questionnaire. "Hey, look, it's the politically active Buddhist queer chick who doesn't like cops."

     Mr. Bill repeated this.
