   What's the status of Threads federating? :mastodon:

   Haven't read from this for a few months 🤔

   Is it still opt-in for them? Meaning, we'll probably never be able to follow those unaware of the switch?

     @BeAware@social.beaware.live @ricard@ricard.social on the bright side it seems to me like the number of accounts that have it enabled has grown well. Entirely anecdotal but I just seem to find more journalists and others to follow from there than ever.
     
     I do remain just as sceptical about their intentions unless this feature becomes popular enough for them to think twice before killing it at some point.
