1. every organism on this planet wants to reproduce. they woudn't exist anymore if this wasn't the case. 2. that's why men (part of the organism-thingi) want to have children 3. women's are most fertile in their 20s. early start == more babies 4. 35yo postwall feminists usually don't have many babies. https://mastodon.satoshishop.de/@mk/111065470055572890
I know virtually nothing about this woman, so you may have more insight. But I didn't see anything being particularly feminist (or anti-feminist) and honestly her reaction didn't seem particularly harsh to me.
BTW I think there's more than one way to explain those results. We don''t know that everyone had "physically, sexually" as the presumed adverbs in front of "attractive". We also don't know how much social-desirability bias (which affects women more) plays into the answers.
are two differen things. men and women are not the same.
most men select women for their reproductive traits (young, fertile, not a pain in the ass) most women -even today- select men for their survival traits (protector and provider)
men have to earn their value, women are born with it.
Otherwise, my priors would be that both "average ideal" curves should tend toward lines with sub-1 slopes, though the one men have for women should be steeper. But can one even tell that line is truly vertical? There appears to be quite a bit of noise, if it had a slope of 0.2 would you be able to tell the difference?
But yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if a woman conflated "attractive" with "date-able", and another simply lied and claimed not to thirst after men half her age.
Ah, OK. I was just going off of that video. I did say, "I know virtually nothing about this woman, so you may have more insight." Sounds like you do indeed have more insight.
Yeah, that is a rather dull and silly take. Of course monogamy is about control: primarily self-control. Oh, rich and powerful men cheated? No, really? So that somehow makes monogamy gender biased at all levels of society? Yeah, kinda lame.
