     @ryanhoulihan spell check is an AI application. AI is just a bullshit generator and is best avoided. It would be nice if Apple realised that the threat of not bringing its Intelligence to the EU isn’t the threat it thinks it is. That still doesn’t change the behaviour in iMessage.

     @ryanhoulihan This behavior has annoyed me forever.

     Also noted: autocomplete in the Safari address bar selects the auto completed part. If you hit backspace quickly enough, it deletes the selected (auto completed) text and the last char you typed. If you wait just a hair too long, it just deletes the selected part and not the last character you typed, and then autocompletes it right back again.

     @ryanhoulihan I file feedbacks to Apple almost weekly on crap like this that irritates the hell out of me. I'm sure there's someone on some team or another that dreads seeing my contact info come up in these forms. But it helps to let them know when things don't work and that it's worth someone's time to report it. Sometimes it helps things like this get fixed more quickly.

     @ryanhoulihan I'm a long-time Apple/Mac user and generally have been happy with their products...but yes, I *hate* the auto-correct with the intensity of the fire from a thousand suns. And the Church of Apple can definitely be a cult sometimes!

     @ryanhoulihan I’m only on the latest main stable version but they somehow fucked autocorrect a release or two back by trying to improve it, to the extent that a pal thought they had a hardware fault on their screen that was not detecting their typing.
