A lot of it you don't see because a lot of it are DMs that nobody else sees.

And the bigots know how to shiv so the larger, largely white user base doesn''t see it happening.

Also, anyone can spin up an instance, and no instance has the type of abuse support system that a large commercial social media site would have.
