Getting nervous that this is the industry that I'll soon be in as a JS beginner, but fuck it. If anything happens, I'll become a Rustacean instead.

Aalso a couple years ago Python and Ruby used to be all the rage, these days Ruby is almost exclussively old stuff that wasn't ported to something else, and Python is headed that way as well
