   The opposition's Weekend at Bernie's gambit went so fucking bad that they had to yank the cadaver out of the race at the last minute. Idc if the DNC used rules to do so. They used their rules to force out the candidate who was nominated, and dems are acting like that's not a big deal. I get that they don't like Trump, but this is fucking insane lol

     Trump is just as old and almost as far gone into dementia/alzheimers. [ Also I've never seen that movie and really don't understand the reference ]

     There's been numerous VPs who have had to step up into the presidency over US history -- that's why the position of VP exists. It's not 'insane', though it is something that doesn't happen a lot.
     
     Having a someone seize power as a dictator *is* insane and is exactly what the US constitution was set up to prevent

     *Only* on day one. And he was answering an absurd question (will you be a dictator?) in his typical hyperbolic and unserious manner. Seriously, if that was his goal, why didn't he do it the last time he was president? This"existential threat" talk really rings hollow when the guy already has "president" on his resume.
