     Went by chris@distrotoot.com. I remember being like "damn" when I saw the name was unavailable and later seeing him on local timeline

     That is why you always pick a handle: something rare, preferably spelled in an unusual way — numbers and shit, and start working on reinforcing your brand from early on. Real names come and go, but your Internet handle remains with you throughout all your online life! 🤪
