   @GrimmReality Haven’t read the WAPO thing yet either, but the linkef Salon article you alludes to studies showing that married people are happier than single people:
   IIRC, those studies showed that married MEN were happier than single men. But married WOMEN, were generally not as happy as single women.
   Again IIRC, another study shows a similar gender divide for the health effects of marriage; & one showing that women who’ve never been married are financially better off than divorced women.
