     @haturatutaro I like debian because it's stable. But I use derivatives of it with more features like pop!_os. Mostly on desktop. Suse I use at work because... well because somebody 20 years ago decided to use it here.

     @teto however, some applications running on Flatpak are unstable, making it feel like it's still developing. I've uninstalled Flatpak several times.

     @haturatutaro flatpaks usually have a nightly or staging version as a seperate flatpak, like chrome for example. What software did you try?

     @haturatutaro because you can update it easily and it comes with all dependencies. Appimage doesnt have (functional) repositories and often relies on external dependencies because it doesnt operate as a sandbox

     @haturatutaro appimage is the past and has a lot of downsides. It's just easier to understand for windows users but has very little practical advantages over flatpak
