@griotspeak the japanese gardens and rhododendron garden are both lovely if that's your speed. Mt Hood and Forest Park are both great for short hikes. Lots of cool coffee shops (Töv is a fun one) or fancy cocktail bars (like Deadshot). Thrift stores are all over the place and can get pricey but have really good finds (SE hawthorn street has like 5 on it). Donuts and ice cream are both good but the names you've heard of aren't the good ones, just walk into a random lesser known shop instead.

@streganil @griotspeak ooh yeah if bikes are your thing, renting a bike (or using one of the nike bikes) and doing the riverfront loop running from sellwood bridge to steel bridge on both sides of the river is a really lovely time
