@dick on the contrary, it's actually the most comfortable position for playing first person shooters (quake, duke64), but the joke is that ps3 has no games so sonyggers will ignore this position :ps3:

@hj @dick Yeah, N64 middle image was the first modern "FPS" grip. It works pretty great, albeit the low fps in N64 games makes it a bit harder to aim. PS1 got Dualshock after it, but honestly I prefer the N64 grip with the Z-button. Feels more like "shooting a gun".
I think the original XBOX controller had the best triggers though and comes a close second.

@susie @dick i prefer not to delve on the subject because everything pales in comparison to keyboard/mouse.
I do find it amusing that even people who have n64 and played it didn't realize that holding it "wrong" is actually the best approach and is actually supported by most FPS-type games. Sure you're missing out on A and B buttons but those are generally bound to lesser used functions like weapon swapping and you can still extend your thumb away from stick to press them, it's just less comfortable.
