   Can y'all shut the fuck up for a moment in your endless fucking whining and pledge to support #KamalaHarris to defeat #Trump? (sorry to those who want to endlessly bicker about who it is going to be, it's going to be her)

   Y'all realize the most important fucking issue here, right?

   You won't get lost in secondary dumb drama, right?

     @benroyce @pamela6591 Harris was my top pick in 2020 and I love her even more now. She has the best resume in the world for the job. She can win. There's no question.

     But to expect the attacks to subside because the age issue is off the table misses the important reality that the attacks focused on an apparent weakness that was exasperated by a GOP friendly media.

     It was literally driven largely by the Swift Boaters.

     They'll find a new Swift Boat. We MUST be prepared.

     I saw a post the other day comparing presidential candidates who were shot and then if they won or lost

     And it was all over the place

     So with 1968 in mind, getting shot, or getting replaced: there's just no predictive power in that

     @benroyce @pamela6591 historians don't really predict. Political scientists sometimes do.

     All I'm saying is we're in uncharted territory and uncharted territory historically tends to chaos.

     What's more, the attacks on Biden had little to do with his age or the debate. It was mostly driven by GOPers (there are some well intended exceptions) trying to make the story not about Trump.

     If the election is about Trump he loses. Period. They know that.

     I'm *guessing* the attacks on the Dems increase

     But make no mistake about it we're in uncharted territory where literally the only precedent that comes close (1968) was very bad.

     The path forward is unclear other than fully supporting Harris.

     But expect the next months to be more fraught and insane, not less.

     We will win. Nevertheless she persisted.

     @midacre the Supreme Court just gave Biden carte blanche to do any malicious thing he wants free of legal concerns. I'm not suggesting anything violent. Like just extreme executive power for trolling. Unilaterally change everyone's name in Florida to Donald Trump. Assign the Russian Embassy to Mar a Lago. All Louisiana classrooms must display the parts of the Epstein files that refer to Donald Trump. Etc.
